Tinus de Jongh (1885-1942) was born in Amsterdam, Holland and a self-taught artist painting Amsterdam street scenes. Artist would later emigrate to Cape Town, South Africa with his family in 1921 where his career continued to flourish. Original etching on paper features hand-written title and signature to the lower half. Print is presented under glass, matting and metallic silver-gold distressed wooden frame. Hang ready. Frame measures 14.5” x 17” x 1.5” (WxHxD).
