Located in the main bedroom. Notable Swayzee, Indiana artist, Joni T. Johnson (1934–1988) was best known for her watercolor paintings of children and the female figure. Johnson’s work was displayed and sold in Indianapolis galleries from the 1950s through the late ‘70s, She was also a founder of the Talbott Street Art Fair. Two of Johnson’s paintings hang in the White House East Room, and her works have hung in 27 countries.
