We are excited to introduce you to a fun new collaborative blog series between Flipside Estates & myself, Tori, of Notorious Vintage.
Hi, I’m Tori Sandler, owner of Notorious Vintage!
Since 2018, Notorious Vintage has been on a mission to keep clothing out of landfills by giving abandoned goods new life with a little elbow grease and love. The job is to help vintage gems find their next owner! As you can imagine, it wasn’t long before I met Jess through the industry and became a Flipside fanatic. As a business that focuses on secondhand finds, estate sales are a no-brainer for sourcing inventory and furnishing my own home (and don’t get me started on the luxury of not needing to buy new cleaning or household products ever again!). At NV, we specialize in vintage and retro clothing, accessories, and home decor from the 1950s to the present day, and you better believe Flipside always comes through with the goods from their estate sales and showroom openings.
When Jess, Flipside Estates Owner and CEO, came to me with an idea for a collaboration, I shouted “YES!” before even hearing all of her ideas. It just makes sense that a collaboration would form. Although we are in the same industry, we serve different needs that our customers value, but they overlap in our services and identifying trends. Ultimately, we have the same goal in mind: to bring new life to old or discarded items by finding them new, loving homes through our work. We are basically foster parents for pre-loved stuff. This *new* blog series will give us an opportunity to provide education and insight into a secondhand lifestyle through different perspectives within the industry as a whole.

The Flipside Showroom is open by appointment only and for monthly First Friday events, among other curated sales, as a vintage shop.
