Jess Pittman, founder + ceo
BFA graduate from Herron School of Art + Design, Jess studied Sculpture and Art History. She’s a collector of cowgirl boots, Pendleton blankets, 1933 World’s Fair memorabilia, and antique post-mortem photography. She loves learning the stories behind sellers and their homes; specializing in operations, organization, and customer service.
Kendal, team lead
Kendal uses her background in graphic design, photography, and furniture to create Flipside marketing, stage the showroom sales floor, and lead the team. She prides herself in cultivating a second-hand home filled with antique cameras, brass knick-knacks, and all things Halloween.
Laura, estate sale specialist + organizer
Collector of PYREX, handmade quilts, vintage Christmas, and mid century furniture, Laura was an avid Flipside estate sale shopper and quickly became a trusted and valuable employee. In addition to being the lead textile expert, Laura specializes in home organization for our sales and training the team.
Vanessa, estate sale specialist + organizer
Vanessa started as a Flipside fan and transitioned into her role as an organizer and sales team member. She is known as the queen of all things seasonal. Her Halloween, Easter, and Christmas displays & knowledge are unmatched.
Karissa, estate sale specialist + organizer
Karissa holds a Bachelor's in Color Theory & Design, is a four-time foster fail dog mom, and an avid recycler. She is passionate about anything rattan, vintage clothing, crewel, or anything in the shape of an animal. With over 16 years of experience in the vintage field, she possesses vast knowledge of clothing and accessories. She’s very customer focused & loves helping the team with the heavy stuff.
Sarah, estate sale specialist + organizer
A lifelong thrifter with a passion for vintage treasures, Sarah transitioned from the medical field in search of a creative, community-driven role. She reconnected with fellow Plainfield classmate, Kendal, to join the team, bringing her love for nostalgic memorabilia, records, vintage Halloween, & tchotchkes. Inspired by childhood garage sale adventures with her grandparents, Sarah sees estate sales as more than transactions—they’re opportunities to preserve stories & give cherished items a new life.
Kyle, estate sale specialist + organizer
With 45+ years in vintage + antiques, Kyle has a wealth of knowledge and is a huge asset to the Flipside team. When Kyle isn’t slinging vintage she is spending time with family and curating an eclectic home.
Karah, estate sale specialist + organizer
Karah is a connoisseur of Pyrex, jadeite, tattoos, + mortuary memorabilia. Outside of her time with Flipside, Karah sells band merch and works on house projects.
Jonathan, donation + clear out team lead
You're most likely to see Jonathan after the estate sales and during the estate clean-out. You might also have seen him directing traffic during the sales or having him help you carry a large item to your car! Jonathan has been a collector and purveyor of vintage clothing for over a decade. Whether it be clothes or furniture, he enjoys finding diamonds in the rough, bringing them back to life, and helping unique items get to the right person.
